After months using the kakobuy spreadsheet, I've found tricks that make the whole process much smoother. None of these are obvious.
The Tricks
- Use Ctrl+F to search for specific keywords in the notes column – faster than scrolling
- Open multiple item links at once before the session cache refreshes
- Screenshot QC photos before accepting – sellers delete them after you accept
- Incognito mode bypasses geo-restrictions on about 20% of 'dead' links
- Sort by 'Last Updated' column to find freshest inventory
- Check seller stores directly after finding a good item – they often have related items not in the sheet
Communication Tricks with Sellers
When requesting QC, ask for '5 specific photos' rather than just 'QC photos.' Sellers who rush send 2-3 bad angles. Specific requests get specific results. I always ask for: sole bottom flat, tongue label close-up, stitching at toe box, side profile in natural light, box label.
Timing Your Orders
I've noticed that ordering mid-week gets faster QC processing than weekend orders. Also, ordering right after a new batch is listed (when the item score is fresh) gives you the best chance of getting a good batch rather than leftovers.
